It kinda walked sideways. Lifts front 2 legs up in air when disturbed.My 14yr old called it a crab spider, idk. I've found 3 in my first week in my home. 1 in my daughter's room. 2 in the guest bathroom's tub.

Hi, I think your 14 yr-old is correct and that is the age people want to hear that the most. It has its first legs outstretched like a crab spider and moves like one. it isn’t a spider to worry about. Most spiders have some venom in their bites for killing prey. The potency to mammals varies by species of spider and the mammals immune system. Some people and pets can have an allergic reaction, like with bee stings. Thank you so much for answering my plea for assistance. I also was taught “don’t mess with them, they won’t mess with you” I usually live by those very words. But I also tend to be overly cautious when it comes to my kids (biological and fur equally). I scooped it up and relocated my sideways walking visitor outside safely. Btw… I’m glad my 14yr old doesn’t know I requested your assistance. I don’t think he’d let me live down that he was correct. Thanks again.
