Comments & ID Thoughts

I have a feeling I may know what this is, but hope I’m wrong (as it’s supposedly not native to my area). I’m hoping someone out there can please identify this correctly! This is the second one of these I’ve found around my home in the past eight months. Both were dead at the time I found them. This one has obviously been dead for some time, but I kept the specimen for identification. This one was found in my garage under an unassembled box of furniture, which I’ve had sitting in there for about a year or so. The furniture was shipped directly to me from a warehouse somewhere out of state (possibly out of the country).
I have more photos I will upload. I truly hope an ID can be made. The black abdomen used to be a lot larger, but due to decay, it’s shriveled and shrunken a bit. It was in a lot better condition when I first found it a few months prior. I really hope this is not a molting, and actual creature is indeed dead!!!

No this is Dysdera crocata, woodlouse spider. Large jaws for manipulating woodlice, but harmless to humans.
