- Location: Templeton, Massachusetts, United States
- Spotted Indoors: Basement or Cellar
- Found in web?: Yes
- Attributes:
Finding it indoors, it is more likely to be the introduced Steatoda bipunctata. S. bipunctata seems to be more tolerant of disturbance and has largely displaced the native S. borealis in habitats that see frequent disturbance and human activity like around buildings. S. borealis is now typically found in undisturbed forest habitats.
