I live in Dubai. I saw this spider today on a tree just by my garden. I was moving slowly around its web. Size around 3 cm.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 Lateral views are tricky to ID from. Do you have a dorsal view? Or anything clearer? Do you know if the web had a classic orb pattern or was it disorganized?

I think she’s making an orb, that at least tentatively gets us to Araneidae (Orb-weavers).
