I haven't a clue, but it sure is a creative little tempter/ress.
Lives under a house within a few hundred feet of the Tropic of Cancer.

Hi, she’s an orbweaver in genus Argiope. Argiope argentata (silver orbweaver) perhaps. She preys mostly on large flying insects. If you ever see a much smaller spider that looks like her hanging around, that’s a male tentatively approaching your temptress. She’ll eat and rebuild her elaborate web every day to keep it clean and sticky. The zigzag parts are called stabilimentum.
