Hi, I just don’t want you to think I forgot this one. I don’t know what it is beyond Araneidae and haven’t found a match yet. It’s interesting so I was hoping to figure it out and I think it’s more likely to get attention if I leave it as unidentified.
Hey! If it helps any I have found out that this spider was paralysed by a mason wasp (who catch garden spiders for their babies.) Pretty freaky! It also lead me to looking more at flower spiders, and a New Zealand museum had a pretty similar looking wee thing in their collection 🙂

looks to be eriophora pustulosa – garden orbweb spider they come in a range of colours including black and white with multible patterns.
