This spider has been in this spot under my bathroom sink for a few months now. Haven’t messed with it, and decided to let it stay because it’s doing a good job of getting the beetles/other bugs that are scurrying around the house.
However, it does look quite intimidating… Wondering what kind it is, and if it’s harmless to people and pets.
Thank you!
Hi, could you submit another photo? It can be done with a new posting, just note that it is the same spider. I would like to see it from a straight down angle. My tentative guess from the current photo is Steatoda triangulosa. I let the spiders stay too. They are providing a service for free. I hope they keep arachnophobes from getting too nosy in my bathroom cabinets too.
