Hi, yes Black Widows have a red hourglass on the (ventral) underside. The back (dorsal) markings on this one are kinda gold. It is a type of False Widow, probably Steatoda triangulosa. She doesn’t want an encounter with you either. She would rather hide in a dark niche and catch insects that stumble into her messy-looking web.
