Found this while changing skirting boards. Big horde of dead insects also on the skirting.
Hi, this is one of the False Widows (Steatoda sp.). I usually separate them into species by the abdominal pattern on the back, since this one is all black I’m not positive which exact one it is. S. grossa is the one most likely to be all black though … might be seeing traces of S. nobilis pattern…
