This second spider of its kind that I have found this week. I have narrowed down its nesting place and have managed to retrieve one egg sack. The spider itself was not found in its nest but nearby. It was in the wheel of my trash can. There were two egg sacs but one had got smashed.

Hi, were the egg sacs spiky? Brown Widows (Latrodectus geometricus) has a very distinctive egg sac. The hourglass looks more orange than red in your image, that points to a Brown Widow too.
