One of the Jumping Spiders of the family Salticidae.
Beautiful photos, by the way.
could u identify the species?
The Salticidae are a remarkably diverse family. You might want to contact someone like Dr. Sunil Jose who has much more experience with the Indian Arachnids that I do. He has a spider blog at https://indiansalticidae.blogspot.com/
There’s also the South India Spiders site at http://www.southindianspiders.org/south-indian-spiders2.htm#salticidae which has a number of photos. Another complicating factor is that often in the Salticidae the males and females look very different in a given species.
