Comments & ID Thoughts

Hi, I was hoping anyone would be able to identify this spider. It's sitting on a strawberry leaf that is barely forming (so it's incredibly small) and I wanna know whether this is a dangerous type at all. The strawberry is growing on my aquaponic system so it's a semi-humid environment idk if that matters

Hi, this is a Crab Spider (Thomisidae). Maybe genus Mecaphesa, not positive. They’re not considered to be of medical significance. Good pest control. 🙂
