Hi, this is a Nephila sp. – Golden Silk Orb-weaver, possibly Nephila cornuta. I need to read up on it and if it looks right make a page to file it when I have more time.
Oh yeah, I’m reading that N. cornuta has “cephalic horns” (those would be the black bumps on the head of your spider). I’ll make a species page for this some time today. Nice find, thanks for sharing.
Hey! I am working on too! I found many spécimens of this species here, in French Guyana, and do you know if N. cornuta could sometimes have brushs on legs? Because, that’s not really evoked in descrptions.
