Hi, I have no idea what kind of spider this is. I found it near the pool at a vacation rental near the beach on the pacific coast of Costa Rica. It was quite large. Hard to venture a guess of accurate measurement due to my terror making the memory seem that it was about 10 feet wide lol

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 I think that would have startled me too. I’m not too familiar with the species in your area but this looks like it could be something Ctendidae … possibly Ancylometes bogotensis:
