Comments & ID Thoughts
Reminds me of a yellow and black garden spider. But found on bush near Cabo Rojo Lighthouse (Faro de Los Morrillos) in Puerto Rico. The sea shell shape of the abdomen is in keeping with the sea side location.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 Like the “yellow and black garden spider” this is an Argiope sp.. Looks like possibly a Silver Argiope (Argiope argentata), but Argiope blanda is another similar option. I need to figure out a way to rule it out.
