False Black Widow, Steatoda grossa.

TangledWeb

Hi, it looks like Steatoda grossa, a False Black Widow. They are common and not a problem. They try to avoid being exposed to light. They can’t see well and use vibration and basic light/dark vision and chemoreceptors for sensory input. Sometimes someone will switch a light on and the false widow will be caught out in the open exposed. They will often hold still until the light is off.
