Hi all,

Could really need some help in identitying what’s in my bathroom... my apartment is on ground floor.

The spider is approx 3-4cm in total and the back is “bronzie” red.

I’m nervous it’s a red back spider (black widow)

Hi, (location adjusted) this does look lika a Widow (Latrodectus). You can reduce the number of spiders you find in your home by sealing cracks around floors, doors, windows, foundation, etc., vacuum everywhere and empty the canister outside.
