These little white looking spiders are in my kitchen and bathroom mainly. The one picture was probably the size of a pinky nail. But they come in many sizes not being bigger than a quarter. I usually find them on the wall or ceiling and usually at night. I never see them on a web. The most similar picture similarities that I’ve been able to find online might indicate this being a yellow sac spider or prowling spider. I want to know how to get rid of these.

Hi, it does look like a Long-legged sac spider, Cheiracanthum mildei. They are emerging as adults in several parts of the U.S. right now. I have them in my house too. I haven’t seen them with more than single strands of silk either, which idicates that they hunt rather than trap prey. Mine are eating other house spiders and possibly mites. I’ve been bitten by Cheiracanthum spiders outdoors, but I don’t worry about the indoors ones because I’m very unlikely to come into physical contact with one.
