Hi, this is a Ground Spider (Gnaphosidae). Looks a lot like a Parson Spider (Herpyllus sp.) but I don’t see one listed for the UK, maybe something in a similar genus I’m not familiar with or an accidental adventive.

Thank you, to me, it definitely looks a lot more like a parson spider now that I’ve seen it, but it’s weird how it’s in the UK, as my friend said. It’s probably just a dodgy looking ground spider
