Comments & ID Thoughts

Sorry for the bad photo. This had black and gray striped legs, and his eyes were huge. He was pretty big. He was in our bathroom closet in July of 2018. People keep saying both of these things are wolf spiders and not poisonous

One feature of wolf spiders is their two large median eyes, that and the eyeshine, I would go with wolf spider.
They are not dangerous but like many ambush hunters can pack a hefty bite, perhaps like a bee sting.
Outdoor spiders, I catch them and release them in the yard unless you have lots of bugs to feed them. They have good appetites.

This is a Fishing Spider (Pisauridae), tentatively Dolomedes tenebrosus.
