Comments & ID Thoughts

I have no idea what this thing is and was just curious. Have 2 little girls under age of 4 and constantly kids over st our house playing. Didn’t want anyone to potentially get injured. A prompt response would be mostly appreciated

Hi, see above image for ID (Wolf Spider). 🙂 They’re not considered to be of medical significance and are unlikely to bite except in self defense. This isn’t a species that wants to be indoors, if you start to see more of them they’re likely wandering in somewhere by mistake. You can reduce the number of spiders you find in your home by sealing cracks around floors, doors, windows, foundation etc., vacuum everywhere and empty the canister outside.
