Comments & ID Thoughts

Top guesses are either a young wolf, or jumping spider.

I've been trying to turn a new, less murderous leaf when it comes to spiders, but they still freak me out. It appears it's taken up residence near my bed, but if it isnt aggressive I'll leave him alone to deal with the other bugs.

I’m having trouble seeing the coloration, but I’m quite sure it’s a jumping spider (if I had to guess, I’d say it’s a tan jumper).

I’m always glad to hear of someone trying to warm up to these little guys! All jumping spiders are virtually harmless and rarely bite, so they’re not bad pest control to keep around the house. They don’t even build pesky cobwebs that need to be cleaned up! ☺

Looks like Platycryptus undatus (Tan Jumper), I agree.
