I call these yellow sac spiders. I found her in my bathroom and named her Daisy.

Hi, yes, their official name is long legged sac spider. Very common in and around homes, often spotted prowling ceilings at night. I have a few about, welcome to stay. worst nuisance I found is things like picking them off the bed and put in quiet corners before retiring, or watching the late show having them web down in front of your face. In the past, they were implicated with bad bites, but research has proven them harmless. Studying spider bites in Washington, they have shown to be prone to bite if trapped against skin. Yeah these guys are all over the northwest side of Milwaukee. Not sure about other regions over here. I have had multiple surprise encounters with these spiders in particular. Two times stuck out; once when I was driving and it crawled to the top of my steering wheel and once when they crawled to my knuckles while I was playing xbox. Both of those occurrences stuck out because they were perched with their front legs waving around crazy style. I did not know they eat mites. Yea, spiders don’t really know humans exist, if you pose no threat to them, they may web on to you, crawl on you etc, maybe a start when they find you. That happens I just let them web or crawl off.
Picking them off the bed, they can be a challenge, quick if spooked and don’t much like hands.
Had them jump off and simply vanish.
The leg waving stems from their poor eyesight, they rely much on feel and just feeling for somthing further to crawl on. Playing with the little crab spiders, they do the same thing.
