Comments & ID Thoughts
Small, maybe half an inch max leg span. Unfortunately I don’t even have a guess to this species, I’ve never seen one like it. Found on my table outside near a dense forest of that helps.

Wow! I don’t know either. I’m impressed that you recognized it as a spider instead of an insect. I counted the legs and body segments a few times to be sure.
It’s very odd to me, I’ve searched all over the web and I can’t for the life of me make a positive ID to anything.
Hi. The legs look like this may be one of the orb weavers, perhaps something like cave orb weaver.
If not that, it may be one of the cobweb spiders.
Either way, looks to be adult male.
This can mean a lot of sifting. I don’t know this spider, I have encountered some cave orb weavers that resemble this but much larger. what rang a bell until reading the description.
I won’t even rule out a yet undescribed species.
Those definitely sound like possibilities. It certainly is an odd one. Like I said I’ve never seen one like it. I’m pretty familiar with the spiders in my area but this one is new to me. I wish I had my camera on me when I found it to take more detailed pictures. If I ever see one again I won’t let the opportunity pass me by!
Hi, see above image for ID. 🙂
Hi, I’m sorry but I don’t see an image. Is there a link you could provide?
Above your image … I filed it. It is a male Filmy Dome Spider, Neriene radiata.
You can compare to this one: https://bugguide.net/node/view/964663
That’s definitely it! Thank you so much this mystery spider was bugging me!
