Small Jumping Spider feasting on a Spiny Crawler Mayfly on a door frame outside my house during mid-day.

It looks like a Wolf Spider
Definitely a Jumping Spider, they body shape and the eye layout is indicative of a Jumper.
It was about the size of a Tan Jumping Spider (Platycryptus undatus) but the patterns don’t match up.
Hi. could pass for Menemerus bivittatus, grey wall jumper. A huge family so just uncertain with this one.
Seems to lack the black mask for those. Can’t always rely on patterns.

That’s true patterns aren’t always reliable. Grey Wall Jumper is one of the possibilities though.
Unfortunately it was also lacking the black bands down the sides of the abdomen that a M. bivittatus seems to have.
