What spider is this
Hi dose anyone no what spider this is found a few in my shed now to scared to go back in there there are no marking on the spider looks like there are 2 little circle dents on the big shelled back at the top
Hi there this may be a Black Widow… Hopefully you can kill them or remove them -~-
That’s what I was scared of as seen how dangerous they can be and my 1year old daughter loves to play with spiders but never heard of a widow over here only the false ones
Do you no how I can find out if it defo is? And do you no if all black widows are dangerous male and female
Most times females will be bigger/fatter and males are skinny and sometimes a different color
In the UK this should be one of the False Widows (Steatoda spp.), given the solid black appearance of the abdomen in the image possible Steatoda grossa. (False Black Widow)
Thank you so I’m safe to go back in the shed
