Dear experts. This is the same spider as yesterday. Only this time I’ve managed to photograph it from the back. It doesn’t have hourglass type of mark but a straight line. Now I think it would be easier to identify it.

I don’t think she is L.hasselti based on the description of lacking ventral hourglass. This specimen is, I believe a mature female Latrodectus erythromelas which has been described in India and Sri Lanka but not Pakistan as far as I know. It’s also very difficult to find a photo of this spider. . It is described as having a red dorsal stripe very similar to the red back spider but the feature which distinguishes it from the red back spider most easily is the lack of an hourglass on the ventral side which represents this spider.
