Crawling inside my home.....hard to identify after spraying him. I would like to know if he is harmful
and the best solution to rid or prevent them inside.

Hi, as you mentioned, it is more difficult to ID a dead spider. I think it was a male wolf spider. Male spiders are born to breed. As soon as they are old enough they set out on a journey to find a female. If they find a female that is the right age. A male’s goal is to mate with a female before she kills him. He might spontaneously die after insemination, regardless. A few live to mate again. Sometimes males follow a female’s scent through buildings and yards and it seems like an infestation.
