Comments & ID Thoughts
This spider was photographed in Yelapa Mexico. It is about 40 miles South of Puerto Vallarta. It is a very large spider and I have been told not poisonous but a good spider because it preys on scorpions. I can not tell you the name it was said in Spanish. Started with a Con or chon with a cla at the end of pronouncing. I hope this helps in the identification.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 I agree with the ID above that this is a Huntsman Spider, Heteropoda venatoria.
Thanks for the help!! I got more information on the Yelapa community site as well and they are saying it Looks like a Cacachilas. Any thoughts?
yes,I looked at that specie before I wrote in here, thats why I typed ”I’m not %100 sure”. it could be that specie too; but I don’t think Cacachilas has this kind of colour.
Ok thanks
