Location of picture is southern West Virginia. This little guy was hiding inside a bath towel that was hanging beside the shower in the house. Any ideas as to the type of spider? I've seen a lot of spiders that I can usually easily identify but I'm at a loss as to what this one is.

Forgot to mention, it’s about the size of a 50 cent piece.
Dark Fishing Spider, Dolomedes tenebrosus.
Thanks! Looks like that’s definitely the culprit. Never seen one of those around here before but, now I know.
They aren’t native to bathroom towels, you would have heard about them if they were. They are mobile ambush predators, rather than web spiders. They eat a variety of insects and other small animals. I haven’t seen one in-person yet either though they are fairly common.
