I'm trying to figure out what kind of spider made this egg sac. There are several of them on the outside of my house,in a pile of old siding that was tore off the house last summer.

There are several egg sacs throughout the scrap laying on the side of my house in Ohio but no sign of the mama spider.
I’m worried that my 2yr old boxer pup will get bit cuz he tries to eat every little bug that moves.so if anyone has any idea please let me know.
The sac itself is about the size of a quarter, oblong shaped, and fuzzy. Almost looks like a miniature, light tan, fuzzy pillow.
Hi, not sure it’s from a spider, could be from an insect. Might be a cocoon. Good thing I checked what I wrote. Autocorrect changed cocoon to raccoon. I would’ve looked really ignorant about zoology. It’s interesting-looking. I have dogs with an outdoor pen, I don’t worry about bites and stings. Unless a dog has an allergy to venom, there are more dangerous things to watch for. Many of my neighbors have let me check the areas their dogs play and I often find broken glass, lead paint chips, rusty nails, dog-poisonous plants, and deadly mushrooms. I agree, the sac doesn’t look like spider silk.
