I haven’t seen a spider like this one before I saw this one or since. I live in the El Paso, Texas area, it is high desert here, very low annual rainfall and the elevation is 4018 ft where this was taken. I have no idea of what type of spider it is. I was looking through some photos and ran across this again and it caused quite a stir in the family , but no one knew what kind it is and so I thought I would submit it to see if anyone can help. It’s size was between a 50 cent piece and a silver dollar.
