Hi, we’ve seen a very similar web with red particulates before. I haven’t been able to find anything online about this being a common occurrence. The Closest things I could find were results of research into the practicality of using spider webs to monitor air pollution elements and mold spores and pollen spores. Doesn’t seem practical to me. As part of my previous job I used a rotor sampling machine that whirled around sticky clear plates that we put under a microscope to identify the type and general density of spores for allergy forecasts.
