Comments & ID Thoughts

The web is quite fine and dense, seems to catch a lot of black ants that roam the inside of the house. It dwells in the gaps behid the old stone walling of our out of use foreplace. My friend first notices the spider a year ago (end of March) same spot coming out to kil an ant. If it is the sme spider then it's stayed the same size. Ive rarely seen it since the first spotting until the past couple weeks. It seems the have eztended it's web out side the gap between the stone and the wall. It moves very fast for its size.

Hi! If the web creates a funnel like structure there’s a good chance it’s a female grass spider 🙂 ! It’s there prime months in summer, they do bite people occasionally so be cautious! 😀
