Found on blueberry plants that are covered in metal/plastic hoop houses.


Color is a bit off on microscope


could it possibly be a silver sided sector spider aka missing orb weaver aka Zygiella x-notata ?

Possibly Larinioides cornutus (Furrow Orb-weaver). Not positive as the condition it’s in and lighting are disorienting. Metepeira may also look similar.

Is there a way to calibrate the color on the microscope? I used photo filtering on the image, it clearer with the colors removed, like a black and white photo.

You can post additional photos individually as new posts or you can put a link to a photo in the discussion. Multiple photos can be made into a collage to post them as a single photo. Sorry we don’t have an easier way yet.
