This still looks like the underside of the spider, unfortunately. It’s hard to get a dorsal shot when they hang upside-down in their webs.
That’s a lot of bugs under her web, she looks like she’s been earning her keep!
She sure has! This is very old house scheduled for demo and it’s quite infested downstairs with wood bugs. It’s a smorgasbord for her!
Ah, you’re right – that is the same side. I’ll keep trying over the next couple of days. I’ve only ever seen her crawling on the floor once so it may be a while before I get a chance. She may even move house entirely after the bit of disturbance of paparazzi around her web. Like I said, they are very shy spiders.
