I thought this was a Nobel False Widow but the more I look the more I doubt myself. Found in a humid garage in the South West UK

There was also a smaller one identical shape and colour in the same area
The smaller one was probably a male that was seeking to mate with her.

Possibly Steatoda bipunctata. They are very similar in shape to the genus of Black Widows, Latrodectus. It is more likely to be in your area than Steatoda nobilis. S. nobilis has a distinctive white marking on the abdomen and doesn’t have the dimples. The dimples are caused by muscle attachments to the interior of the exoskeleton.
