Possibly a brown widow?
A brown widow and this spider are both in the same family, Theridiidae. The Brown and Black widows are in genus Latrodectus and have solid background color. Steatoda looks like clear dark brown glass and uncolored glass over rumpled gold-colored metal foil. The gold parts reflect bright light, they’re kinda pretty with a flashlight on them.
Very informative. Thank you!
