Seems like some sort of jumping spider based on the fuzzy tufts on its head and eyes, tho no jumps were observed. Noticed it sitting on my leg while I was reading on the beach far from nearby vegetation. I reached my finger to move it and the spider climbed on and rested before climbing up my arm. Hard not to personify based on its responses to observation, movement and it’s eyes. It did not move very fast excepting a few turns. It took lots of gentle coaxing to get it to climb into a nearby tree where I thought it safer from foot traffic. Once there it remained stationary.
