I think it is Steatoda triangulosa, they have more defined markings and a flatter abdomen. I’ve had both at my house, it helps to see them in-person to then mentally rotate them in photos. I hope that makes sense!
Keep going, you’re doing well. Most of us start with the ones that are easiest for us to recognize and learn as we go. Guessing is necessary, even if we could DNA test the spider, taxonomy shifts constantly. That makes sense! You’re probably right, I’m not super familiar with spiders but I enjoy guessing if it looks like something I’ve seen before.
