Comments & ID Thoughts
Don't know for sure but maybe a Common house spider. Big guy was roughly quarter size. I'm going to assume he crawled from my crawl space, he was in the hallway/doorway leading to crawlspace.

He was moving slow. Maybe lethargic. It’s been pretty cold outside.
Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This is a male Black Lace-weaver, Amaurobius ferox.
Thank you so much for the warm welcome! I’m excited to learn from this community!
Welcome!
Almost forgot to ask… Is it poisonous?
Like most spiders they have venom but are not considered to be of medical significance to people and are unlikely to bite except in self defense.
