Solifugae (Wind Scorpions or Camel Spiders)

I have lived in the region for 25 years have never seen this type of spider before. I have seen 4 of them in the house in the past few months. I brought furniture from Delhi last year so maybe it is not normally native to this high cold arid region where I have been seeing.

I thought it looked about 1.5 inches long in total, but the guy who it was walking on said the central body was definitely more than an inch long, and the legs extended to like 3 inches. (Maybe a psychological inflation?)
