This was indoors in November at 3200m altitude in the Himalayas, a very arid climate. I had brought furniture from Delhi a few months earlier so it's possible it's not normally native to this high desert region, Ladakh.

This was on the wall indoors, during cold weather when the house was probably 14C. Is it in the Opiliones?That would be harvestmen?
Yes, in USA many of the Opiliones live in the desert areas of the West Coast, so it is probably native to your dry area.
