It might be Parasteatoda tepidariorum, a Common House Spider. They are a cobweaver type of spider that makes messy-looking cobwebs. It has venom for killing prey but it is very unlikely to bite a person or pet. She may bite if someone has a hand near her egg sacks or if skin is pressed against her body in a way that makes her feel trapped or likely to be squished.
