You found a spider in The Villages?! I tried for a week to find one there and the pesticides had taken their toll and I found none. I admit I am very opposed to heavy pesticide, herbicide, and artificial fertilizer use and I was miserable visiting relatives in The Villages. By, the way, check out Flat Island Preserve in Leesburg, it is fantastic! It’s an archeological site that’s been inhabited by humans for thousands of years but has been saved and restored as a place with only native species. It looks like a set for a Tarzan movie.
