Comments & ID Thoughts

Black spider with orange body that sticks up like a scorpion in Camden NC 5/20/2019, outside crawling on string of lights, but I think it was inside the flap that covers the plug. I disturbed it when I plugged in the lights and it crawled and a fast clip down the wire, onto the flyswatter which carried him to his new home in the woods. I have no idea what-so-ever what kind of spider it is, but would love to know because I think there was a tinier version inside my camper last week.

Hi, this isn’t a spider. Looks like a Wheel Bug nymph. What looks like a fourth pair of legs are antennae.
