Comments & ID Thoughts
This spider was black and hairy and almost "shiny" looking. I found it outside on the patio (ground level) at night. Definitely not an eastern parson spider. It seemed like it was a "hunting" spider and was not found in a web. The abdomen was quite round. The overall speed of the spider was moderate, it was not too skittish.
