Found indoors in utility room (unlit area)
Body size approx 1/8 inch (3mm)
total length including legs 1/2 inch (12.5mm)
Short legs, calm, let me pick it up and move to a safer area.
I was intrigued by the pattern on it's body, not seen one of these before and not able to identify from internet.

Looking at UK spiders on the internet, the closest I can compare it to is a giant house spider. Same colour, similar markings but way way smaller with much shorter legs. Perhaps a juvenile giant house spider?
