Comments & ID Thoughts
I think it is the wood lice hunter as we do have a lot of wood lice around the outside and a few have been known to get it , but I have never seen this type of spider in the house in all my 45 years

Can anyone confirm what type of spider this is and should it be in my country
Hi, see above image for ID. 🙂
So is it the woodlouse hunter ?
Probably. It’s something in the genus Dysdera which includes the Woodlouse Hunter Dysdera crocata. Another similar species in the vicinity is Dysdera erythrina and I don’t think I can reliably tell the two apart.
Thanks itsy I would bank the Crocata , as I said I have a lot of woodlouse around outside and I saw one in my bathroom before catching this guy,I was sorry I throw into the neighbors garden as I would like him to hunt all the woodlouse away from eating the roots of my plants and killing them Cheers for Comments Itsy
