Sorry for the blurriness, it was dark. Its legs are furry. What is it?

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This looks like it might be one of the Gnaphosidae (Ground Spiders). They have distinctive looking spinnerets but they’re not visible in your image and I’m not familiar with the species in your region so I’m not 100% certain.

Hi, thanks so much for your comment. The body of the spider you have suggested looks really similar to mine except for one feature. Ground spiders have thin legs but this one had thick legs and very furry if one can call it that. I would be happy to hear more suggestions, I couldn’t find anything similar in the Web.
Currently there’s 2,214 described species in 126 genera of Ground Spider (Gnaphosidae). Some have more hair than others, leg length and width varies. A lot of variation. Without seeing the spinnerets though, it may very well be something else. I’m sure there are a lot of species in your region I’m not yet familiar with. If I come across a similar enough example of something I’ll let you know.
